AYAHUASCA CEREMONY in San Agustin

MOUNTAIN MALOCA RETREAT AND DEEP INNER WORK

SAN AGUSTÍN, COLOMBIA | AUGUST 15TH & 16TH, 2026

Join us for a profound, two-night Ayahuasca Ceremony retreat in the magical region of San Agustín, Colombia. Please note: This is a traditional gathering, not a commercial Western-style retreat. It is designed for those seeking an authentic experience in a simple, respectful, and rural setting. This sacred plant medicine journey is an opportunity for deep personal insight, emotional cleansing, and spiritual growth.

The ceremony is led by a respected Taita who upholds an egalitarian approach to healing, deeply honoring the role of feminine wisdom in the tradition. To respect the privacy of the Taita and his family, as well as the sacred nature of the space, his specific name and background will be shared personally with confirmed participants.

This is a unique chance to experience traditional healing within an atmosphere of deep respect and balance.

Important Note on Safety & Setting

As this is a traditional ceremony in rural Colombia, there are no Western medical professionals or therapists on-site. Participants must be in good physical and mental health and are expected to take full personal responsibility for their journey. The Taita and his assistants provide guidance based on indigenous traditions and deep spiritual experience."

THE LOCATION & ATMOSPHERE

We will spend both nights (Saturday and Sunday) together within the Maloca.

  • The Structure: The Maloca is a sturdy building with a roof and walls, specifically designed for sacred work. It features a central sacred fire, which serves as the heart of our gathering, providing warmth and light throughout the night.

  • Sleeping Arrangements: To stay close to the medicine and the circle, sleeping is communal. You can choose between mats on the floor or hammocks.

  • Preparation: While the building is protective, mountain nights in San Agustín can be cool. A warm sleeping bag or thick blanket is essential. If you do not wish to carry one, it can be purchased cheaply or borrowed locally.

THE CEREMONIAL SCHEDULE

Saturday: arrival at 6-7:00 pm
Sunday: morning: cleanse; integration and rest. Second Ceremony starts in the evening.
Monday morning: cleanse and departure

MEALS & SHARED COOKING

Meals on Sunday are light and nourishing to support your inner work and keep your energy levels balanced. In the spirit of community, we will prepare and share our meals together.

How we organize: We will coordinate our food via a WhatsApp group prior to the ceremony. This allows us to decide together what we want to cook (e.g., a traditional soup—with or without chicken—rice, or fresh fruits) and who can bring which ingredients. This shared planning and preparation is a beautiful part of our communal integration and ensures that everyone’s dietary preferences are considered.

OPTIONAL CULTURAL IMMERSION

Combine your experience: This ceremony is fully independent of the Community Building Workshop (CBW). However, we highly recommend extending your stay to participate in the CBW (Aug 7-9 or Aug 21-23, 2026) for a unique cultural immersion. The intercultural CBW offers a rare opportunity to connect deeply with yourself and the local community beyond the archaeological sites and tourism.

ACCOMMODATION BETWEEN EVENTS

We highly recommend participants stay at Waka Wilka between the CBW workshop and the Ayahuasca Ceremony (Aug 9th to Aug 15th), but you are free to choose any other accommodation in San Agustín as well.

Note on Ayahuasca Ceremony: The Ayahuasca Ceremony (Aug 15th & 16th) is a separate event. If you wish to extend your stay at Waka Wilka for the days leading up to the Ceremony, please contact Steve at Waka Wilka regarding accommodation. Registration for the Ayahuasca Ceremony itself must be completed via the button below.

PRICE FOR THE 2-NIGHT AYAHUASCA CEREMONY: 330 EUR

The final fee is calculated based on the payment method and region. Pricing for international bank transfers and payments in USD is detailed on the registration page.

The price includes the two Ayahuasca ceremonies, dedicated access to the Maloca and its facilities (mats/hammocks) for two nights.

A Note on Pricing & Participation: Please note that this Ayahuasca Ceremony and the Community Building Workshop (CBW) are organized as a combined initiative. I have designed a mixed calculation for both events to ensure the overall project remains viable and accessible, while generating no personal profit.

Flexibility of Choice: While these events are designed to complement each other, they are fully independent. You are free to book the Ayahuasca Ceremony or the Workshop separately. Participation in one is not a requirement for the other.
