COMMUNITY BUILDING WORKSHOP
Community Building INtercultural Workshop
Authentic Communication and Personal Development
San Agustin Colombia 7.-9. Aug 2026 and 21.-23.AUG 2026
This is the first Community Building Workshop (CBW) by Dr. M. Scott Peck in South America, and it will be held in English and Spanish. Dr. Peck, renowned for his seminal work The Road Less Traveled, developed Community Building as a response to the increasing polarization and isolation in the world. The goal of the CBW is the experiential learning of Community Building guidelines and values for personal development and spiritual growth.
What is the Community Building Workshop?
The CBW is a highly experiential group process aimed at achieving deeper, authentic communication. It utilizes a set of principles and guidelines instead of a fixed agenda or procedure.
Under the gentle guidance of specially trained facilitators, participants are led through a unique process that shows how to look beyond cultural, political, and religious differences to embrace our common humanity. The overarching goal of the group is to experience a deeper degree of community.
The CBW is distinguished from other group models by the unique phase of Emptiness, where participants learn to shed their masks and personal obstacles to make space for the True Self. This process requires Vulnerability and leads to a community defined by extraordinary respect and deep listening.
The Intercultural Experience: San Agustin, Colombia
This workshop takes place in San Agustin, Colombia, in the beautiful natural surroundings of Waka Wilka. The inspiring setting supports relaxation and the deep inner work of personal development.
Waka Wilka offers participants opportunities for recreation and reflection, such as using a sauna. Afterward, you can jump into the waterfall with its natural pool. Additionally, the location provides proximity to the local mystical culture.
Note: If you would like to extend your stay at Waka Wilka, for example, to participate in the Ayahuasca ceremony on August 15th and 16th, please contact Steve at Waka Wilka. This ceremony is completely independent of the Community Building Workshops.
